Training with Ben has been one of the most impactful decisions I’ve made since leaving the military. Over the past two years, he’s helped me lose 24kg, rehabilitate serious injuries, and prepare for my first amateur kickboxing match.
After undergoing two hip surgeries to repair labral tears, my recovery was long and brutal. Following the second operation, I slipped into a depressed state and gained 15kg, hitting my heaviest at 95kg. Combined with the mental toll of a toxic environment at my Army unit, I was in a dark place, both physically and emotionally.
That’s when I started training with Ben. His no-bullshit style, his own experience with injury, and his ability to keep you accountable made all the difference. He brought structure, stability, and a clear path forward, helping me rehab not just my body, but also rebuild my mindset.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that Everything we want to do in life requires discipline. And with Ben’s support, I was able to find that discipline again—cut the weight, manage my pain, and step into the ring for my first fight.
